How much it will cost to get started, etc, etc.  You’re offended.  You hang up the phone.  Why?

Because the person did not get to know you.  He/she did not ask you why you wanted a home-based business. What you were looking for in such a business.  Did not ask about your need and wants pertaining to the business.  Bottom line he/she did not connect with you.  Did not build rapport with you. No relationship was established.

In order to build a network marketing business you need people.  People want to know you are interested in them. Not treat them as another dollar in the check.  Learn about the person first.  Listen and understand them first.   Remember offer solutions to their wants and needs.  Focus on them.  Talk about the business second.
