Sin #5: Getting stuck in show and tell mode.

This happens all the time.  People are so excited about their new business, they want to tell everyone about it.  They start talking about how great the products and comp plan is and how much money you can make in six months.  They forget one thing:  the prospect doesn’t care about any of that.  The prospect wants to know how the business is going to benefit him/her.  The prospect is thinking only about themselves.  You have to think about the prospect.  What are their wants and needs?  Is your new business a “fit” for them.  Remember the prospect comes first.
